Description
No. 31 Fore Street is a small town house dating from the early 19th century. It features splatterdash on stucco and render, an asbestos slate roof with projecting eaves, and brick end stacks. The house has a deep plan that includes a rear wing, likely consisting of two small rooms at the front with an entrance hall between them and an open passage on the left. It is two storeys high and has a two-window range with end pilasters on the first floor. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sashes with overlights, and there is an original six-panel house door with moulded panels situated between the ground-floor sashes. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to retain features of interest.
