Description
Parade House is a town house dating from the 18th century, located on Fore Street in Plympton St Maurice. The building features rough-cast render with a plinth and mid-floor bands, topped by a dry slate roof that is hipped on the right and has a moulded eaves cornice. It has a single-depth plan with a deep wing at the rear left. The house stands three storeys tall and has a symmetrical front with three windows, where keyblocks are visible above some of the openings. The windows are late 19th or 20th century four-pane horned sashes, with the ground-floor and first-floor left openings being slightly larger. The central doorway has a late 20th-century door and a plain porch supported by slender turned columns on tall plinths. There is also a later blocked doorway to the right of the porch. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
