Description

The Lodge is a detached villa built in the early to mid-19th century. It features a rendered exterior that replaces the original stucco and has a dry slate hipped roof with projecting eaves. The building has a double-depth plan, likely consisting of two rooms at the front on either side of a central entrance hall. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window front with a central doorway. The windows are restored 12-pane hornless sashes, and the doorway includes a hood and a 20th-century glazed door. The interior has not been inspected, but a previous description notes that it has been over-restored and the staircase has been altered.
