Description

119 and 121 Church Road are a pair of properties originally built as a single house in the mid-19th century. The building is rendered with visible quoins. It has a hipped slate roof with overhanging eaves supported by brackets. The house is three storeys high and features three glazing bar sash windows per floor, set in deep reveals with moulded architraves, and a cill band. Later additions include square bay windows on the ground floor and a cast iron verandah connecting them. The original front door has a fanlight above it. A small ashlar porch is attached to the west end and contains an arch-headed door and windows. An elaborate conservatory, with a pointed barrel roof constructed of cast iron and glass, is also attached.
