Description

Rose Tree Farmhouse, now divided into two houses, dates largely from the 17th century, with alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. The farmhouse is constructed of rendered rubble with a double Roman tile roof, and has brick stacks. It is two storeys high with four windows. The windows are 19th and 20th century casements, and there are two first-floor windows set within partial eaves dormers on the west side. A west-facing door is recessed within a porch. The interior features deep chamfered, step-stopped spine beams with run-out stops, and a fireplace with a moulded and stopped depressed arch lintel and chamfered jambs.
