Description

Worle Tower Observatory is a circular, three-stage tower that was likely built in the late 18th century. Originally a windmill, it was converted into an observatory around 1876. The tower is rendered and features a corbelled battlement parapet. The upper windows have a slight ogee moulding cut into the lintel, and the door is set back in a slightly splayed opening, complete with a moulded lintel.
