Description

The Methodist Church, built in 1838 and restored in 1898, features dressed stone walls set on a chert rubble-stone base. It has a slate roof adorned with tile cresting and carved wooden barge-boards at the gable ends. The church is a single storey and includes two round-headed windows with glazing bars and intersecting tracery heads, along with stone cills. On the gable wall, there are two large round-headed windows. The entrance is located in a stone porch on the gable end, featuring a Tudor-arch head and plank double doors. The gable is also decorated with a carved barge-board and the slate roof continues with tile cresting.
