Description

This boundary stone, possibly from the 18th century, is set into the south-east corner of the boundary wall of Mill House in Clapton. Made of Ham stone, it measures about 150 millimeters wide and 600 millimeters high. Near the top of the stone, there is an incised 'W', which stands for Wayford, the adjoining parish. The current boundary now lies a few meters to the west of this marker.
