Description
The farm buildings at Wilkswood Farm, located 30 meters west of the former farmhouse, form an L-shaped range likely built in the late 18th century. They feature rubble stone walls, with roofs that are partly tiled and partly stone-slated. The left end of the range includes a projecting wing, where the cow-house section has a tiled roof. This area contains a series of stable doors and plain windows. To the right, there is a two-storey cart-shed with a granary above, also topped with a tiled roof, featuring double doors on the ground floor. The left door is accessed by brick and stone steps. Further right is a one-storey stable with an attic, which has a stone slate roof, a stable door, and a larger door. There is a slatted window on the ground floor, with a loft door above in a pent-roofed dormer. Continuing to the right, there is an open shelter shed with a corrugated iron roof, featuring two openings divided by a central stone pier. These buildings are included for their group value and are part of a National Trust property.
