Description
Church Cottage is a cottage attached to the village hall, likely built around 1845 and similar in design to No. 55. It features rubble stone walls and a hipped slate roof, with a stone stack that has a moulded cap on the right wall. The cottage has an L-shaped plan, with the main range positioned at right angles to the road. The ground floor includes a panelled door and one sash window with glazing bars, both set under shaped stone lintels. On the first floor, there is another sash window with glazing bars. At the rear, there is a wing of similar construction that has a 20th-century single-storey extension with an asbestos slate roof. A stone boundary wall runs along the road. The cottage is included for its group value with the village hall.
