Description

The Village Hall is a former school that has been converted into a village hall, with a date stone above the entrance marking it as built in 1845. The building features rubble stone walls and a slate roof with a coped gable topped by a stone cross. It is positioned at right angles to the road. The entrance is located to the right of the main building and is accessed through a small gabled porch. This entrance includes a ledged door set within a four-centred archway, framed by a square frame with spandrils and a hoodmould. The main gable showcases a large three-light mullioned and transomed window, also with a hoodmould, and is fitted with latticed cast iron glazing. Above this window, there is a small quatrefoil opening.
