Description

Forge Cottage is a terraced cottage, probably from the 18th century, with alterations made around 1955. It features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, along with stone end stacks. The building is one storey with an attic. The front has a flush panel door and two sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. In the attic, there is one hipped dormer with sash windows that also have glazing bars, as well as a small window located under the eaves. This cottage is recorded as RCHM Monument 19 in Dorset Volume II.
