Description
Ivy Cottage is a semi-detached cottage, probably dating from the 18th century. It features rubble stone walls, a stone slate roof, and stone end stacks. The building is one storey with an attic. The entrance has a ledged door, and the ground floor includes two casement windows with glazing bars set beneath stone ashes. In the attic, there is a continuous pent-roofed dormer that contains two casements with glazing bars and a central blocked window. One of the ground floor rooms has a large open fireplace with a timber lintel.
