Description
Worth Farmhouse and Worth Cottage is a farmhouse and attached farm cottage, likely built in the 18th century. The structure features rubble stone walls, with the front wall being plastered, and has stone slate roofs with stone end stacks. It is two storeys high and has a double-pile plan consisting of two parallel ranges. A gabled stone porch with a ledged door is present at the front. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has three similar windows. The rear range, which was originally used for service, is now a separate cottage and has a date-stone in the end gable that reads "AD 1847," which likely marks its conversion into a school.
