Description

Stone House is a semi-detached cottage dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It features rubble stone walls and stone slate roofs, with one brick and one stone end stack. The building has two storeys and an attic. The entrance includes a stable door, and both the ground and first floors have two casement windows each. The attic contains one pent-roofed dormer with casements, along with two small older windows in the end gable wall. Inside, both ground floor rooms are equipped with large open fireplaces that have timber lintels, one of which includes a bread oven. There is also one chamfered ceiling beam with leaf stops.
