Description

No. 51 High Street is a double-fronted terraced house that appears to date from the 19th century, although it may have earlier origins. The house features rubble stone walls and a stone slate roof, with stone end stacks that are shared with the adjoining houses. It has two storeys. The entrance consists of a panelled door set beneath a stone arch with a projecting keystone. On the ground floor, there is one sash window with a central glazing bar and one fixed window, both situated under similar arches. The first floor has two horizontally sliding sash windows, also with glazing bars.
