Description

The entrance gates and gatepiers to Durnford House date from the early 18th century. They consist of a pair of ashlar stone gatepiers featuring raised panelled fronts and moulded caps. The wrought iron gates are adorned with scroll ornamentation at the top and center. It is noteworthy that Durnford House itself was rebuilt in the mid-20th century.
