Description

The dwarf wall and gatepiers in front of Bankfield House date from the mid-19th century. They are constructed from ashlar and feature cast iron gates. The wall has a moulded coping, while the gatepiers have sunk panels and moulded caps. The ornamental gates are designed to ramp upwards towards the center.
