Description

The gates to Dorrington House consist of a pair of gate piers and gates, dating from the late 17th century and the 20th century. They are made of limestone ashlar set on brick bases. The gate piers are square with chamfered bases and feature moulded, projecting square caps. These caps have shallow ogee bases that support large ball finials. The gates themselves are wooden and ramped, dating from the 20th century.
