Description

Two cottages, now combined into a single house, were built in the late 17th century and early 19th century. They are constructed of painted coursed limestone rubble and painted brick, with pantile roofs and three gable brick stacks. Number 16 is a three-bay, one-and-a-half-storey building with painted ashlar quoins. The central doorway has a six-panel door, flanked by single margin light sash windows. Two gabled dormers are above, each with a small margin light sash window. Number 14 is a single-bay, two-storey building with a six-panel, part-glazed door, and a single margin light sash window to the right. A further margin light sash window is above.
