Description

This is a late 18th-century house, now divided into two cottages, located on the north side of Chapel Street, Ruskington. The house is constructed of red brick with ashlar dressings, and is roofed with pantiles, featuring a single ridge and two gable brick stacks. It has ashlar coped gables and a white brick plinth. The building is two stories high and has four bays. An off-centre doorway is topped with a 6-fielded-panel door, a Gothick tracery overlight, and a wooden bracketed hood. To the left of the doorway is a single 3-light sliding sash window with a flat ashlar lintel and raised keystone. To the right are two similar windows. Above the ground-floor windows are four matching sash windows; the window above the doorway is now blocked, and the window to the right is a small 20th-century casement.
