Description

The building is a pigeoncote and blacksmith's shop located to the rear of No. 7 on Ruskington Manor Street. It dates from the early 18th century and 19th century. The structure is made of field stone limestone rubble and features a pantile roof. Attached to it is a red brick lean-to blacksmith's shop with a corrugated asbestos roof. The pigeoncote has a square plan and includes one opening with a timber lintel. Inside, it retains pigeon boxes that reach the full height of the building, along with stone ledges. The blacksmith's shop contains two glazing bar sliding sashes and a planked door.
