Description
Veronica Cottage is a terraced cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a slate roof with gabled ends. A stone rubble chimney stack is located on the right-hand gable end. The cottage has a one-room plan and is situated in a terrace, with the entrance on the right side. It is built into the hillside on solid rock and has a three-storey front that overlooks the harbour, featuring a regular two-window arrangement. The windows are of 20th-century design. The ground floor includes a 20th-century window and a partly glazed 20th-century door, which is sheltered by a slate lean-to canopy. The first floor has two 20th-century windows in enlarged openings, while the second floor features two 2-light casements. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value.
