Description
Content Cottage is a terraced cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of painted stone rubble and features a slate roof. The cottage has a large stone rubble chimney stack on the left-hand gable end and a rendered brick chimney stack on the right-hand hipped end. It has a one-room plan and is situated at the end of the terrace with the entrance on the right. Built into the side of a hill on solid rock, the cottage has a three-storey front with a single window that overlooks the harbour. The ground floor has a tall 20th-century PVC window to the left, which includes glazing bars, and a 20th-century lean-to stone rubble porch to the right. Above, there are 20th-century PVC two-light casements with glazing bars in the original window openings on the first and second floors. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value with nearby buildings.
