Description
This building is a cottage located between Sunny Corner Cottage and Watchmans Cottage in Polperro, dating from around the mid-18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a scantle slate roof with gable ends. A large stone rubble chimney stack is situated on the right-hand gable end. The cottage has a one-room plan with the entrance on the left side, built into the side of a steep hill. It has two storeys and an attic, with steps leading up to the entrance. The front is asymmetrical with a single window layout. On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century partly glazed door on the left and a 4-pane sash window to the right. Above, in the center, is a 19th-century 4-pane sash window, and there is a large 20th-century flat roof dormer. The interior has not been inspected. This cottage is included for its group value.
