Block of 4 estate cottages, - originally 6 almshouses. Mid-C19. Brick walls, hipped tiled roofs, brick stacks spaced along ridge, with oversailing caps and arched recessed panels. Single storey. L-shaped plan. Elevation to Pound Lane has, in centre, a raised gable above a double hipped porch; the lower walls of this of brick, the upper walls glazed with shaped brackets supporting the eaves. 2 ledged doors. At right end a similar, single porch, with one ledged door. On this front, 3 casements with glazing bars under segmental arches. Small lower extension at left end, with glazed door. East elevation has, in centre, a slightly projecting gabled section, containing one casement with glazing bars and, above this, a recessed 4 centred arched panel. On each side of this a gabled porch, with lower walls of brick, upper walls glazed, with ornamental brackets supporting the eaves. Left porch has, in gable, a crowned "A". Ledged doors under 4 centred arches to both porches. Along this front a total of 5 casements with glazing bars under 4 centred arches. Picturesque.
