Description

The George Harvey monument is located in the churchyard immediately south of the south transept of the Church of St Mary, St Cuthberga and All Saints in Witchampton. This 18th-century churchyard monument is a stone table tomb featuring a top with a moulded edge. It has reeded vase-shaped angle pilasters adorned with egg and tongue moulding at the caps, and a moulded plinth. The side panels display inscriptions dedicated to George Harvey. This monument is considered a good example for the area.
