Description
Waverlawns is a detached house dating from the early 19th century, featuring rubble-stone walls that are rendered. It has a steeply pitched slate roof with gable ends and stone gable-copings, along with brick stacks at the end gables. The house has two storeys and attics, with three windows that are small in relation to the walling. These windows are sashes with glazing-bars and flush wooden frames, and they have wooden cills. There is a two-light attic window on the south gable. The front door is centrally located, flush-panelled, and has two top lights, dating from the 19th century. Attached to the south gable end are outbuildings with rubble-stone walls and pentice slate roofs, as well as a two-storey stable that has a pitched slate roof. The stable features a central plank door and a plank loft door above.
