Description

No. 425 on Church Road is a detached cottage built in the early 19th century. It features rubble-stone walls and a slate roof with stone gable copings. There are 19th-century brick stacks at each gable end. The cottage is two storeys high and has three original sash windows with 16 panes, flush wood frames, and wood cills. The front door, located at the center, is flush-panelled and has a plain fanlight above it, also from the 19th century.
