Description

Cross House is a detached house dating from the late 17th century, with some changes to its windows. The building features rendered rubble-stone and cob walls, topped by a thatched roof that has a gable end and is hipped at the right-hand side. There is a brick stack located at the left gable and another at the centre of the ridge. The house has two storeys and attics, with three windows that include two- and three-light wood casements, all with wooden cills and lintels. A plank door from the 19th century is situated to the left of centre, and it is sheltered by a gabled canopy supported by two wooden posts. The interior is likely to be of interest, but access has not been obtained.
