Description

The railings and gate before The Lawns, located on the east side of Westbury, date from the 19th century. They are made of cast iron and feature uprights topped with spiked finials. The gates are flanked by square iron standards that also have square coved finials. The gate itself includes rails with spiked finials. This structure is part of a group that includes Stonedyke House, Winton, The Firs, and the gate piers and railings to Winton and The Firs, as well as the railings and gate before The Lawns and the Digby Estate properties numbered 229, 232, and 233.
