Description

This is a gate and railings located about one yard south of Church House in Tenbury, dating from the early 19th century. Made of cast iron, the railings stretch approximately 12 yards in length and feature alternating large and small shaped finials, with matching detailing at the base of each finial. The upper rail curves slightly upwards towards each finial. The gate, positioned about four yards from the east end, shares the same design and includes slender square gate posts that are supported by scroll-shaped brackets on the north side.
