GV II

House. Early C18, with mid-C19 alterations. Finely-jointed handmade brick and plain tiled roofs with brick stack to right end of front pitch with dentilled course at base. Two storeys and attic; three-course band at first floor level and dentilled course above and below attic storey level at gable ends. Four bays. Windows have gauged flat heads and are all wood mullion and transom type. Main entrance in bay 3 has a curved lead canopy, a round archway, moulded architrave, door of four flush panels and a traceried fan- light. Attic light at right end. Windows at ends and rear have cambered heads with blue brick header detail. Two wings at rear; the right wing has a large external end chimney, the left wing has C19 additions at its gable end. Interior not accessible at time of survey (May 1987).
