Description

Langton House is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a tile roof with a gable-end stack. The building stands two storeys high and has a moulded brick cornice, along with projecting brick quoins and a band. There are three windows on the upper floor: two 3-light casements on either side of a 2-light casement, all set beneath rubbed brick heads. The ground floor includes two 16-pane boxed sashes. The central entrance is highlighted by a doorcase that features fluted pilasters, an open pediment, a fanlight, and a door with six raised and fielded panels.
