Description

Dream Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 16th century, with some alterations made in the late 19th century. It features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill and a thatched roof that is hipped at the left end. The building consists of three framed bays, which are extended by a single bay at each end, and has ridge stacks. It is one storey high with an attic that is lit by casements cut into the thatch. The ground floor has four 2-light casements. There are two entrances: the one on the left has a 17th-century ledged and boarded door, while the one on the right has a 20th-century door with a lean-to tiled canopy. The framing includes two square panels high, and the cruck trusses are visible on the interior.
