Description

Yew Tree Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the late 20th century. The building features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill set on a stone plinth, topped with a machine tile roof that is gabled to the left. There is a stack on the ridge to the right. The cottage consists of three framed bays and is one storey high, with an attic that is illuminated by a framed dormer that is coved to the tie-beam. On the ground floor, there are two 20th-century casement windows. The entrance, located at the right-hand corner, has a recessed 20th-century glazed door. The framing of the cottage consists of three square panels high.
