Description
Crooked Walls is a house that likely dates back to the 16th century, with some alterations made in the mid-20th century. It features a timber-frame structure with rendered infill and a thatched roof. The building consists of three bays and has a central stack. It is one storey high with an attic, which is illuminated by two 2-light casements that have been cut into the thatch. The ground floor includes five assorted casement windows, and the entrance is located to the right of the center, featuring a lean-to tiled canopy and a half-glazed door. The framing reveals an exposed cruck truss on the left-hand gable, and the walls are made up of two rectangular panels high, with a curved tension brace in the left-hand corner.
