Description

The Laurels is a house dating from the 17th century, with an extension added in the early 19th century and some alterations made in the late 20th century. It features a timber frame with rendered infill set on a stone plinth, topped with a roof of machine tiles and slate. The building has an L-shaped plan, with the main range extending to the north and west, and a 19th-century addition to the north. The east front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two gabled dormers positioned above two casement windows on the left side. To the right is the 19th-century addition, which has a hipped roof and three glazing bar sash windows. The main entrance is located in the left-hand return wall.
