Description
Court Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of handmade brick and features a plain tiled roof with parapets at the gable ends. The building has two storeys, an attic, and a cellar, and is characterized by a chamfered plinth and a dentilled eaves cornice.
The east front elevation consists of three bays, where the windows have 18th-century cambered heads and 19th-century casements. The outer bays contain three-light windows, while the central first-floor window has two lights. The central entrance features a small flat canopy, a four-panelled door, and a transom light with two glazing bars. There is also an attic light in the north gable end. At the rear, two external chimneys are enclosed within 19th-century single-storey, single-bay wings. The interior has not been inspected.
