Description
The Barn is a late 17th-century barn, later converted to a house in the late 20th century. It is timber-framed, with a lias limestone rubble plinth and weatherboarded elevations, topped by a plain tiled roof. The barn has three framed bays running north/south; the central wagon bay now has blocked opposed cart entries. The west elevation has six rectangular windows on the ground floor, seven square windows above, and a central entrance with a lean-to canopy supported by brackets and a 20th-century door. The interior, which was not inspected, is believed to have a largely intact timber frame, including collar and tie-beam roof trusses with struts. Owl's End Farmhouse is not part of this listed building.
