Description

The churchyard gate and iron railings located south of the Church of St Thomas of Canterbury date from the early to mid-19th century. The structure features sections of iron railings topped with arrowhead finials, which flank a pair of tall iron gates that have curved top rails and curved braces beneath the dog rail. The gate piers are round and topped with ball finials. Additionally, there is an ornamental iron overthrow that includes a lamp, which may have been added or replaced at a later date.
