Description
The Firs is a pair of houses located in Winton, dating from the early 19th century. They are two stories tall and feature a three-window front that is cement rendered with a pebble-dash plinth. The houses have a slate roof at the front and plain tiles at the back. The sash windows are four panes wide, although the central window on the first floor is blocked. The doorways are linked and adorned with Tuscan pilasters and an entablature, topped with rectangular fanlights. The Firs is part of a group that includes Stonedyke House, the gate piers and railings to Winton and The Firs, The Lawns, and the railings and gate before The Lawns and Digby Estate Nos 229, 232, and 233.
