Description

Brookfield is a late 19th-century building of two storeys and two window bays. It has a plain tile gabled roof. The front is constructed of stone rubble. The first-floor windows are grouped towards the centre, with a pebbledash gable above. A four-panelled door with a shallow fanlight is located below the left-hand first-floor window; a sash window is to the right, and a smaller window is to the left. The building forms a group with Digby Estate Nos 251 to 255, Twyford, The Sherborne Do-it-Yourself Centre and Wessex Club, Digby Estate No 247, Sherborne Gallery, Westbury Studio, Dolphin House, Estcourt, and another building called Brookfield.
