Description

The Digby Estate, located on Lower Acreman Street, consists of two properties, Nos 166 and 167, dating from the 18th to 19th century. The buildings feature a slate roof and a stone rubble front. Each property has one window bay and a door. The upper level has 2-light segmental headed windows, while the lower level has 2-light square-headed windows, with the left-hand window featuring a lintel. The doors are ledged and set in frames. Nos 166 and 167, along with Nos 2 and 3 and The Old Mitre, form a group with an outbuilding to the south occupied by P J Stainer.
