Description

Trendle Cottage, dating from the early 19th century, features a rendered front and a plaintile roof. The building is two storeys high and has three sash windows, each with four panes. The round-headed doorway is adorned with reeded imposts and reeded flush panelled reveals, and the door itself has six reeded flush panels. The front garden wall is made of stone, rendered above with a flat capping, although the railings have been removed. This cottage is part of a group that includes the adjoining outhouse range on the east side, as well as several other properties, contributing to the historical context of the Digby Estate.
