Description

Nos 2 and 3 Lower Acreman Street are two buildings likely dating from the 18th to 19th century. They are probably two storeys high with a two-window bay front facing the road and a central passageway. The buildings feature a plaintile roof and a stone rubble front. In No 2, there is a small three-light window above and another below. The central block has a ledged door framed with a small glazed panel in the upper part. In No 3, there is a three-light casement window above and another below. Nos 2 and 3, along with Digby Estate Nos 166 and 167 and The Old Mitre, form a group with the outbuilding to the south of the premises occupied by P J Stainer.
