Description
This building, located at 1 Trendle Street, is a traditional two-storey cottage dating from 1625. It features a stone rubble front and a thatched roof, with a rounded corner on the ground floor. The cottage has wooden casement windows, with two lead-glazed windows on the first floor. Between these windows are two small stone panels that are carved with quatrefoil ornament. On the ground floor, there are three 4-light windows. The premises are occupied by Mr. Hunt and are part of the Digby Estate, known as Nos 4 and 2, which form a group with the Hospital of Saints John the Baptist and John the Evangelist located at Abbey Close.
