Kitchen garden wall, attached to C17 porch of Westbrook House (qv). Early to mid C18. English garden wall brickwork, on stone courses to approx 0.75m, rising to approx 3m overall. The wall runs approx 25m to the W, and includes, near the E end, an inset C17 stone doorway with 4-centred moulded head, and a wide plank door to segmental head at the left-hand end; half of this run is now concealed by later swimming pool enclosure. The return to the S runs approx 36m, then returns approx 26m on an E/W alignment. The 3 outer corners are all on a curved plan. Attached, centre, to the S side of the return is a 3-bay loggia with a wide pediment carried on 4 slender fluted cast-iron columns, and one column on each return.
