Description

The granary at Westbrook Farm, dating from the mid to late 18th century, features English garden wall bond brickwork supported by a timber plate and topped with a corrugated-iron roof. This tall, square building has a gabled design and stands on three by four staddle stones. The entrance, located on the south side, includes a door opening with a half-brick segmental head and is accessed by a short flight of stone steps leading to a stone landing. The space between the staddle stones on this side has been blocked. Flanking the doorway are two blocked lights. The gables each have an opening with a horizontal light above; the eastern side is blocked while the northern side remains plain. The building features brick dentil eaves and retains its upper floor inside.
