Description
The granary, now used as a store, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century and was altered in the early 20th century. It is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond and features red sandstone staddle stones. The building has a hipped roof covered with West Somerset slates and overhanging eaves. It has a rectangular plan and is single storey, resting on staddle stones.
On the south-east front, there is an inserted leaded window below a wooden lintel, which was originally a doorway. The south-west side shows the remains of a partially bricked-up 2-light moulded mullion window. The north-east side has partially glazed 20th-century double doors and a small 2-light leaded window, while the fourth side is unlit. A decorative wrought iron weather vane, likely from the 19th century, is also present.
